Zoominfo Team, This is a request to bring back the previous version of Zoominfo's chrome extension as the latest update is not only poor but also disrupts my work. Please bring it back. Can't work with this one.
This update just broke my workflow. Also, by opening a side panel now, it closes another side panel I use constantly.

Man this extension was so great until about a week ago with the new update. It lost about 95% of its functionality, and the navigation of the new extension is extremely unintuitive, if existent at all. It looks much more like a weird budget extension that only opens in a sidebar, it used to be an overlay that you could actually extend to get a mini version of the full site, right there in the extension, with tons of different features, insights and customization that made it a much more effective application. I really hope they intend to bring back some essence of the original extension.
Worked great until a few days ago. It won't log in even though I'm logged into Zoominfo on another tab. When I try to log in, the page just refreshes and doesn't log in.

Really dislike the update
The extension is borderline unusable since the last update. It stops working and needs to be shut down after every contact export.
Lost most of the key features that we use such as complete HQ address, exact no. of emp, and most especially the floating window. Version 12.9.3 is an all together different window on the side of the screen. If youre using a small sized laptop or monitor, your webpage view shrinks even more because it has to make space for the extension on the side. I dont know if there is a option to change this. Tried to look for it, couldnt find it. If there's a way to revert back to the old version, I'd happily do so. ------------------ Response to the Developer: Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Yes, we definitely noticed the improvement in speed, the extension loads much faster than before which is a huge plus. It's just that the overlay was an incredibly convenient feature for those of us who work extensively with CRM software. For now, I've stopped using the extension altogether and instead open the main ZoomInfo website, since some specific information is only available through the full profile anyway. The extension itself may be objectively faster, but sadly the overall work became slower because I now have to switch to the main website more often and sacrifice screen space. Even so, I really appreciate you personally responding to my feedback and I think that deserves acknowledgement. Nice when it works, but highly unreliable. This extension frequently breaks and is unusable. Haven't been able to use Zoominfo Chrome extension for the past 3 days straight.

Everything is grayed out on the free version and the monthly fee is ridiculously expensive. Use Apollo.io - Chrome Extension instead.
Genuinely terrible. It is crazy how this used to be a good product and now it is in the dumpster. To all who read this: go to a different option, because ZoomInfo is awful to use and this extension often does not function.
Have to uninstall & reinstall so frequently. Really hit and miss for how critical this is to the function of the app.

I can't open the extension. I've been trying to contact the support but no one is helping.
I had an issue using the extension because they made updates that made it required to enable 3rd party cookies. I am a Brave user and the brove browser blocks 3rd party cookies by default. Ryan Tinkler contacted me and set up a zoom call to troubleshoot, he saw I had brave and had me allow third party cookies and the extension immediately worked. Great customer support. Also, they will be moving away from third party cookie requirements again heading into 2025.
I could never get the chrome extension to work with my browser (since Nov 2023). I have followed all the troubleshooting steps and all it does is ask me to verify my identify and then closes out. No error message. It hasn't been a tool that I have been able to successfully use since it was installed months ago. I try to use it all the time, but it never loads. After making this known Ryan from ZI reached out to me and we were able to discover the issue is 3rd Party Cookies! SO if you are like me and value your security/privacy and have this turned off, there is a work around and it can be used as intended. I truly do appreciate Ryan reaching out to me so quickly (less than 20mins after my outreach) which brought my review from a one to a four star. Ryan very much saved the day with his quick reaction to my needs and helping me find a quick and simple workaround. My faith has been restored, thanks to Ryan T.
Today is not a good day for the tool - it's exporting maybe 50% of the leads I need to Salesforce from LinkedIn and ZoomInfo.
My three main tools I use all day long are Salesforce, LinkedIn and ZoomInfo. I rely on the ZoomInfo Chrome extension and have been using it for 3.5 years. Yes, there are days when the extension doesn't respond properly, but that is rare. I also use Grammarly with the Chrome extension and don't have errors. The ZoomInfo Chrome extension saves me time while I am working with my task list in Salesforce so I don't have to switch to ZoomInfo.

We had an issue in January where the ZoomInfo Extension causes a frozen Chrome browser. Some details: 1. If you have the Grammarly Desktop installed, combined with the ZoomInfo Chrome Extension, your browser will freeze/lockup. 2. There are also a few reports that Chrome may freeze with just the ZoomInfo Chrome Extension installed. This issue has been resolved as of mid-February. Please uninstall/re-install the extension and you'll have the updates. Thank you!
Basically doesnt work half the time, so often has terrible data
This extension has become unusable. It continually shows "No candidates found." Serious problem considering how much more time intensive it is to find candidates on the TalentOS website. Worked great a year ago...
more often than not it does not work. It shows no candidates found. Every update is worse than prior one. Their help and support is not very good either.
Each update is making the extension worse.
This used to work great but just like so many others, the plugin no longer works. It loads then just gives a blank screen. What a bummer. :(
